Migrateful in Bristol
Bristol has been part of the Migrateful journey from the very beginning. Our founder, Jess, grew up here, and our very first cookery class with paying participants took place on Whiteladies Road in 2017.
Since then, Migrateful has been building its name in Bristol through regular cookery classes held in pop-up venues across the city. As demand for our classes steadily grew, we started to dream of having a space to call our own.
Thanks to everyone who donated to our cookery school crowdfunder, and to generous grants from the John James Foundation and The Clothworkers’ Foundation, this November we opened the doors to our very own cookery school in Bristol, based at the much-loved Windmill Hill City Farm.

Volunteer at a cookery class
Our chefs are the stars of our cooking classes, but even heroes need some help!
This is where you come in! The backbone of our sessions, Class Sidekicks ideally commit to 5.5 hours for 6 consecutive weeks in London. Each class cycle happens at the same venue every week, featuring different chefs and facilitators. Your role ensures smooth operations and a fantastic, engaging atmosphere.
However, we understand that 6 weeks can be a significant commitment for some. Instead, you could join the Orange Onion Club, where you gain priority access to available classes for one-off volunteering. A win-win!
