By booking an Online Corporate or Private Cookery Class, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
1. What’s Included:
- A cookery class with a Chef and a facilitator during which you will learn how to make between one and three delicious dishes.
- A detailed list of required ingredients and cooking equipment.
- A Zoom link.
- A copy of the recipes that you cook, sent the day after.
2. Health & Safety
We would advise that participants wear shoes with fat, non-slip soles and covered toes, sensible clothing (not your Sunday best!), and tie back long hair. We are not liable for any damage that occurs to you, the participants (including clothing, shoes etc.) as a result of your negligence.
We reserve the right to end a class early if, in our opinion, any participant behaves in an unacceptable manner.
3. Dietary Requirements & Food Allergies
Participants will be cooking in their own kitchen with ingredients they have purchased themselves. Additional allergens may be present in some store bought ingredients, depending on the brands, which have not been listed on the menu in the class description. Migrateful cannot advise or take responsibility for any ingredient substitutions.
4. Payment
A non-refundable deposit of £200 is required to confrm all corporate and private bookings, prior to the class. The list of ingredients and equipment as well as the Zoom link will not be sent until the deposit payment is received.
Invoices for the fnal payment are to be paid within 30 days from the date of issue.
5. Changes, Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
Changes in total number of participants
The total number of participants must be confrmed at least 3 working days before the event/class.
If more participants than previously agreed to and paid for appear on the day of the class, we reserve the right to invoice you for the extra participants.
If less than the confrmed number of participants attend, we will not be able to discount these from the fnal invoice.
Cancellations and rescheduling requests by participants
If you want to change the date or time of your class and you give us more than two weeks’ notice we will do our best to rearrange. Classes are prepped in advance and changes unfortunately cannot be made after that time.
If you would like to reschedule a class with Migrateful, the following will apply:
- More than 7 days notice before the event, we can reschedule the class against the same £200 deposit
- Less than 7 days before the event, the deposit will be non-refundable and the class will be rescheduled against a new deposit.
- Less than 3 days before the event, the class will be considered cancelled. Therefore, 100% of the full amount will be charged.
If you would like to cancel a class with Migrateful, the following will apply:
- More than 7 days notice before the event, the £200 deposit will not be refunded.
- Less than 7 days before the event, 50% of the full amount will be charged.
- Less than 3 days before the event, 100% of the full amount will be charged.
Cancellations by Migrateful
In the rare circumstances that Migrateful has to cancel or make major changes to your event/cookery class, we will contact the host as soon as possible and propose an alternative option for the same day if possible or ofer to rearrange for a diferent date. In case these options are not suitable for you, we will issue a full refund within 14 working days.
6. Additional Requests
Meetings with Chefs and facilitators prior to the class
Meetings with facilitators and chefs prior to the class will incur an extra charge of £100 to cover their salaries during the time of the meeting.
Using platforms other than Zoom
We strongly support using Zoom for all of our online classes, as the facilitators and chefs have been trained and feel comfortable using this platform. However, we are open
to using diferent platforms only if training and any subscription payment is covered by the host.
7. Copyright & Acceptable Usage
Full copyright of the Migrateful website and other related content, including recipe suggestions and recipes developed by Migrateful is retained by Migrateful. All recipes are for personal use only. The sharing of these materials by print, press, photocopy, email, blogs, internet or any digital transfer medium is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of Migrateful.
Please note that some of our chefs may have diferent privacy needs. Any social media content or other communications and marketing material that may include the chefs’ story or photograph will have to be pre-approved by Migrateful.
